„Into the future with new dual leadership“
An interview with Oliver Kreienbrink and Rainer den Ouden,
the new management of ADCONIA
Rainer, welcome to the management team at ADCONIA. What particularly attracted you to the job? What new ideas would you like to contribute?
Rainer: Thank you very much. In the last 6 years as a shareholder of ADCONIA, I have already been able to actively contribute to the direction of ADCONIA, but the time had come to switch to the driver’s seat and herald the next chapter of ADCONIA. With Oliver and myself, there are now two people with a background in IT on the management board, which makes perfect sense in these fast-paced times of AI development. However, we will not change the basic orientation of practitioners for practitioners.
Oliver, what is your first impression of the new collaboration with Rainer? What do you particularly appreciate about the new constellation??
Oliver: We have known each other for a very long time and have always worked together constructively and innovatively. Nothing has changed in that respect. We have both combined our added value in generating ideas and solutions with our strength in implementation. I look forward to utilising this strength for ADCONIA and our customers.
How do you both complement each other as the new dual leadership?
Oliver: We were both born in Westphalia, we both have an IT background and we both know how to set goals and pursue them. The culture fit is there, and now I’m looking forward to working on these goals together with our employees.
Rainer: For many years now, we have been complementing each other in the development of ideas and concepts. Turning great ideas into realisable and pragmatic concepts works particularly well in our collaboration.
Which topics are currently at the top of your agenda?
Oliver: Our customers and we as a consulting company are currently undergoing a transformation from spreadsheets to AI applications. This means that our tools are changing, our way of working with our customers and our focus on human development remain the same.
Rainer: The topics of organisational development and process optimisation in turbulent times of digital transformation towards AI are certainly topics that Adconia must address, and as this will only work as a twin transformation in the future, we must not lose sight of the topic of sustainability, which we have been covering with expertise via Adconterra for some time now.
How would you describe the corporate culture at ADCONIA in three words?
Oliver: Reliable, customer-focused, hands-on
Rainer: Familiar, pragmatic, appreciativ

What are your wishes for the time together as management??
Oliver: Without losing our idea of consulting, further develop our business model, our employees and our customers in order to have generated added value at the end of the day.
Rainer: Developing both companies together and focussing on new areas, without losing sight of the core and the values. We also want and need to increase our impact and realise this through strategic partnerships or completely new approaches, as time will tell.
Finally, a personal question: What are you looking forward to the most?
Oliver: To continue to develop world formulas together, to be happy about them and then to identify the leverage in them that will make ADCONIA and our customers a little more competitive again.
Rainer: Always with a smile and a positive attitude, changing things in the team. Together we can and want to achieve a lot. Not always just seeing the challenges, but identifying and utilising the opportunities.
